All-inclusive hiking day tours along the beautiful Costa Brava’s high winding cliffs, cactus fields, secluded beaches and crystal clear coves followed by village beach front dining!
For this trip, we depart Barcelona at 9am and drive just under 1.5 hours northeast to a beautiful stretch of beach called Platja de Castell. This is the starting point of our 3 to 3.5 hour coastal hike (approx. 7 km) that takes place along one of the most pristine segments of the Costa Brava. As we follow the trail heading north, you’ll find yourself walking through ancient history as we pass through the ruins of a 6th century B.C. Iberian village perched on a little peninsula overlooking the crystal clear Mediterranean, then continuing on the cliff-top path we’ll be rewarded with amazing views of countless tiny coves and beaches below. At times we’ll wind down through secluded coves and beaches where we can stop to relax, have a snack and swim and/or snorkel, for those interested. The hike comes to an end in the charming, white-washed fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell where you’ll enjoy a great lunch at a seaside Mediterranean restaurant. This trip departs at 9am and returns to the city around 6-7pm.
